The Haas F1 team unveiled a fresh stars and stripes-inspired livery ahead of this weekend’s United States Grand Prix.

The American-licensed Formula One racing team will debut its new look at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on Sunday in what is classed as one of the team’s three home races, along with Miami and Las Vegas.

The new design maintains the red, white and black color scheme seen throughout this season on the Haas VF-25 car, but with the stars and stripes of the American flag clad across the vehicle’s front and rear wings, nose, sidepods and engine cover.

This is the third unique livery Haas has used during the 2025 F1 season, previously displaying a cherry blossom design at the Japanese Grand Prix and a throwback livery for its 200th F1 race at the Canadian Grand Prix.

It is common for teams to make tweaks to their car liveries during the season for specific races or anniversaries. This season, Red Bull used a white and red livery for the Japanese Grand Prix while McLaren sported a “Riviera-inspired” livery in the Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix.

“(Circuit of the Americas) is a fun but challenging circuit which always produces some entertaining racing,” Haas driver Esteban Ocon said, per gpblog.com. “I’m looking forward to getting back out there, showing off our special livery, and hopefully giving our home fans plenty to cheer for.”

In last year’s United States Grand Prix, the Haas car featured a bald eagle design on the sidepods in reference to the country’s national bird. The team has used a custom livery in the USGP in each season since its split from former title sponsor Uralkali in 2022.

DON’T MISS

In the 2024 race, Haas scored with both cars in the sprint before Niko Hulkenburg, now driving for Sauber, finished eighth in Sunday’s Grand Prix. It’s worth noting that Ocon, then driving for Alpine, recorded the fastest lap (1:37.330) on lap 53 of the race, the first fastest lap of his career, before finishing 18th.

Ocon will make his eighth running in the event this weekend while teammate Oliver Bearman is set to make his Circuit of the Americas debut.

Haas enters the weekend in ninth in the constructor standings on 46 points, 26 ahead of last-place Alpine and nine points behind Kick Sauber.

“We’re very excited for the United States Grand Prix,” Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu said. “COTA always feels like home. It’s a busy week with a lot of activities, but with the added fact that it’s a Sprint, you’re running off adrenaline the entire weekend.”
