Book Bar, located in Palmyra at 50 N. Railroad St. Ste. 1, is thrilled to announce we will be celebrating our first year of business with Book Bar’s Birthday Bash on Saturday, October 25 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since we first opened on October 26, 2024,” states Brittany Haynes, owner of Book Bar. “I remember vividly how we ended up getting such an overwhelmingly great response from the community from that very first day. Since then, we’ve hosted nearly 200 events on top of day-to-day operations and have had an absolute blast! I am so grateful to everyone for all of your support in my first year of business and I look forward to celebrating with all of you and continuing to grow within the community.”
To commemorate the occasion, we will offer various author signings, a Halloween-themed book club meeting, new merchandise, and giveaways throughout the event. Please find details below for the schedule.

Book Club:
Our Literary Fiction & Classics Book Club is open to anyone who would like to join us for our meeting on Sun. Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. to discuss Agatha Christie’s Hallowe’en Party, the classic mystery that inspired the 2023 film A Haunting in Venice.
