Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Labour Market Partnership is giving local employers the opportunity to meet and connect with potential recruits at an upcoming job fair in Dundonald.
The in-person recruitment event will take place on Thursday 27th November from 10.30am to 2.30pm at Dundonald International Ice Bowl., It aims to bring together employers and jobseekers from across the local area.
Funded by the Department for Communities, Labour Market Partnerships create targeted employment action plans for council areas, allowing collaboration at both local and regional levels to support people towards and into work. This event is designed to help employers recruit talented staff and fill vacancies efficiently.
Councillor Jamie Harpur, Vice-Chair of the council’s Regeneration and Growth Committee, urges local businesses to sign up: “The upcoming job fair at Dundonald International Ice Bowl is an excellent opportunity for employers to engage directly with potential employees and highlight the range of career opportunities available within Lisburn and Castlereagh.

As exhibitors, employers will have the opportunity to showcase current job opportunities, engage directly with jobseekers, and promote their organisation to people looking for their next career move. The job fair will feature a wide range of employers across multiple sectors, including hospitality, IT, customer service, construction and transport.
