The All Whites take on Norway in an international friendly in Oslow on Wednesday morning as they look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Poland.
All Whites captain and Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood had been expected to go head-to-head with another of the Premier League’s top goalscorers Erling Haaland but the latter has been released from the Norway squad to return to Manchester City.
Should the All Whites win next month’s Oceania World Cup qualifiers in Wellington and Auckland, to secure a place at the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, the match will form a critical part of the team’s build-up programme of fixtures.
Kick-off is 5am NZT.
