Women’s Golf Finishes Eighth At Lady Red Wolves Classic

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Samford women’s golf team finished in eighth place at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, hosted by Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark.

Samford finished with a three-round team score of 882 (300-291-291 for eighth in the 17-team field. ULM won the classic with a score of 845 (278-281-286).

Individually for Samford, Gabi Nicastro tied for 6th in the 102-player field with a three-round score of 213 (71-71-71).

Behind Nicastro in Samford’s playing five, Grace Engel also tied for 25th at 218 (77-71-70). Anika Richards tied for 45th at 223 (74-76-73).

Samford will next play in The Judson, hosted by Southern Miss, on Oct.27-28 in Hattiesburg, Miss.
