EastEnders revealed Lexi’s twisted revenge scheme in tonight’s episode, just as Johnny Carter and Callum Highway began to think she was warming to their relationship.

Previously, Ben Mitchell’s daughter Lexi Pearce was left shocked by the revelation that Callum and Johnny had started a relationship, after her dad made a surprise return to Walford to attend his father-in-law Jonno’s funeral.

On Tuesday’s episode, Callum tried to make amends with Lexi by telling her he’s sorry he didn’t tell her about the relationship. Lexi acted like she wasn’t bothered and shrugged as she said “whatever” – but it was clear she still feels blindsided by the relationship and feels like Callum is betraying her dad.

“If you had to choose, who would you choose? Me or him [Johnny]?” she asked.

“You obviously,” Callum insisted, but Lexi didn’t seem convinced.

Later, Johnny joined Callum and Lexi at the flat for a takeaway. As Johnny reeled off a list of what he’d ordered, Lexi told him he forgot to order dessert, prompting Callum to tell her off for being rude.

But Johnny insisted it’s fine and gave Lexi his phone. As she left the room, the couple remarked how it seemed she was adjusting to their new relationship. Meanwhile, out in the hallway, Lexi was seen looking mischievous as she typed on Johnny’s phone.

Minutes later, Johnny’s phone went off and revealed Lexi’s sneaky plan. She’d emailed the last fifty clients in Johnny’s phone, calling him a “fat pig who steals husbands and breaks up families”. Outraged, Johnny rushed out, saying his boss wanted to see him.

Callum promised he’d talk to Lexi and sort it out – but Johnny didn’t seem so convinced. Will they be able to repair the damage caused by Lexi? And will she ever accept their new relationship?

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
