In very sad news out of the US this morning, legendary pop singer Connie Francis has passed away, aged 87.
She was a chart topper back in the ’50s and ’60s with hits like Cupid and Where the Boys Are.
More recently, her song Pretty Little Baby went viral on TikTok, gaining over 30 million new streams and even entering Spotify’s global charts.

Over her career, Francis sold 200 million records and she was the first female solo artist to enter the Hot 100 with Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool.
Earlier this month, she was hospitalised due to extreme pain, but was recovering, her management confirmed.
And fresh off the Emmy nominations for his show, The Studio, Seth Rogen is back for more laughs with Aussie actress Rose Byrne.
The pair previously worked together, of course, on those Neighbours films and this morning, we have our first look at the duo in the new season of their series, Platonic.

Finally, Coldplay’s Music of the Speres tour is trending this morning, but not for anything that happened on stage.
Fans have been warned to be careful who they take to the concert after a couple allegedly having an affair were caught out by the show’s kiss-cam.
