The Kraken are coming off a tough overtime loss to open their season-long six-game road trip. The Kraken have won just once in their four previous trips to Ottawa and have been shut out in each of their last two visits.

Much of the Senators’ issues so far this season fall on their defense. The Senators rank last in the NHL in goals allowed per game, having surrendered four or more goals in each of their first four outings, and are on a three-game losing streak after conceding a season-high eight goals in a road loss at Buffalo on Wednesday night.
The Senators have struggled on the penalty kill, allowing a goal on 52.9 percent of chances, surrendering eight power play goals in just four games.
