Richmond has made five changes to its VFL side for the Round 18 clash with Werribee, as the race for finals spots gets set to heat up across the final four weeks of the season.
Headlining the inclusions is 2024 draftee Harry Armstrong, who returns for his first competitive game since Round 5 of the AFL season, due to a hamstring injury. Armstrong played in a VFL scratch match last weekend and is now back on the field in an official capacity.
Sam Phillips will make his VFL debut, with the former Oakleigh Charger presenting as an outside player with strong running ability and an elite penetrating kick.Â
Joel Garner, Jed Feneley and Sean Lai make up the five inclusions for the clash.
Noah Balta and Steely Green are both out after being re-called to the AFL team, Kaleb Smith (managed) and Oliver Hayes-Brown (hamstring awareness) will both miss, and Jhett Haeata has been omitted.Â
Richmond enters the round sitting in 9th position on the ladder, just four points behind the fourth placed GWS GIANTS.
The first bounce at the Avalon Airport Oval is set for 1:05pm this Saturday.
All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.Â
