Five-eighth Dylan Brown has scored the gamewinning try, as NZ Kiwis survived a torrid Pacific Championships encounter against Toa Samoa, winning 24-18 at Auckland’s Go Media Stadium.
Centre Casey McLean scored a first-half try double, as the home side roared out to a 12-0 lead, but Samoa levelled midway through the second half.
Brown provided the winning moment, when he chased a high kick from halfback Kieran Foran, leaping to take the catch near the goalposts and spinning over in a tackle.
