Two of The Voice’s brightest stars have secured their spot in the singing competition’s grand finale, after combining raw talent and star power in their standout performances.
Cassie Henderson, 26, will represent Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, while Bella Parnell, 21, will sing for Richard Marx’s team.
Sunday night’s electrifying episode saw the pair rise above the competition to earn a shot at the crown.

After the nail-biting showdown, the artists reflected on the intensity of the night.
“I was really feeling the pressure,” Henderson told 7NEWS.com.au.
“But I just locked down and looked out into the crowd to see my family there for the first time in the competition — it was so amazing.
“I also felt the weight and support of all those people who were on my team — all the singers, everybody who had stepped onto the stage alongside me up to that point.”

Chisholm hailed Henderson as a “superstar” after her stunning performance of Lorde’s Green Light.
Parnell, meanwhile, earned her place in the grand final with a breathtaking rendition of Adele’s Skyfall, which impressed her coach.
“She absolutely accomplished everything I wanted from that performance,” Marx said.
Parnell admitted she was initially taken aback by the choice.
“When I first got the song, I was a bit shocked — it’s such a big song,” she said. “It was a special night and so special to have my mum with me before the performance, during the mentoring.”
Chisholm called Parnell’s journey “one of the most incredible” on the show, noting that she had never performed in front of an audience before her blind audition.

“Richard kept telling me to just be present and not let the nerves take over but also accept the nerves as part of the performance,” she said.
“He’s incredible … like his experience is insane, but I think when you get to know him, he’s actually just a lovely soul. He’s so genuine and also really down to earth.
“I went into the competition not having much experience but there was so much to learn from everyone — the contestants and coaches.”
Next Sunday, artists from Kate Miller-Heidke and Ronan Keating’s teams will battle it out for their chance to join the grand final line-up.
The Voice semi-final continues October 26 at 7.00pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
