Welcome to the Week 7 grades!

The final Monday night doubleheader of the season is taking place in Week 7, and there are two big games on the schedule. In the early game, the Detroit Lions (5-2) pulled off a dominant performance in a 24-9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2).

With a national audience watching, Jahmyr Gibbs put on a show: The Lions running back rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns and added 82 receiving yards. With his performance, Gibbs became the first player in 21 years to go off for at least 200 scrimmage yards with two rushing touchdowns in a Monday night game.

The Lions continued to prove that they’re unbeatable coming off a loss. The win over the Bucs comes just one week after Detroit lost to the Chiefs, meaning the Lions have now gone 51 straight games without suffering back-to-back losses.

For the Bucs, playing in prime time has been a nightmare with Baker Mayfield. Since he took over as quarterback in 2023, the Bucs have gone 1-7 in prime-time games, but 23-10 in all others.

In the nightcap on Monday, the Seahawks turned the ball over four times, but still managed to beat the Texans, 27-19.

With that in mind, let’s get to the Week 7 grades, starting with the Lions’ big win over the Buccaneers.
