Geelong has released an AFLW Health Update ahead of their Round 11 clash with the Western Bulldogs

Geelong Cats Head of AFLW Dominique Condo can provide the following Deakin AFLW Health Update ahead of the Cats’ Round 11 match Western Bulldogs at Mars Stadium on Sunday.

Julia Crockett-Grills
Hamstring, 1-2 weeks

“Julia suffered an injury to her left hamstring last week and was unavailable for our game against West Coast Eagles. She will undergo further assessment this week, but at this stage we expect her to miss another 1-2 weeks with the injury.”

Piper Dunlop
Knee, TBC

“Piper has been managing a knee concern during the season, and last week we determined it was best to give her knee a rest while we undertook further investigation.

“We will continue to monitor and assess her over the coming week before determining her availability for upcoming games.”

Chloe Scheer
Knee, TBC

“Chloe is still progressing well through her training program, but while we are optimistic, we don’t want to rush her return.

“With that in mind, we are taking a more conservative approach with Chloe’s return to play, and it now is looking more unlikely than likely that she will feature before the end of the home and away season.”
