Papua New Guinea’s rugby league fans are in for a treat as Brisbane Broncos’ premiership-winning stars prepare to visit the country this weekend, bringing their NRL and NRLW trophies on a three-day tour.

The delegation includes NRL players Adam Reynolds, Ben Hunt, and Ezra Mam, joined by NRLW representatives Romy Teitzel, Jada Ferguson, and Shenae Ciesiolka. They are scheduled to visit communities, interact with fans, and participate in public events across Port Moresby.

One of the key moments of the visit will come on Saturday, October 25, at Santos National Football Stadium when the Broncos contingent parades the trophies at half-time during the PNG Kumuls’ clash with the Cook Islands Aitu in the Pacific Championships.

Senior NRL correspondent Bradley Walter said the visit underlines the Broncos’ long-standing connection with Papua New Guinea, a nation where rugby league is more than just a sport.

Broncos captain Adam Reynolds and rising star Ezra Mam have already posted updates from Port Moresby, showing their enthusiasm for meeting local fans and celebrating rugby league’s impact in PNG.
