For the first time in 22 years, Australia and England will do battle in an Ashes series.

The three match series gets underway this Sunday morning (AEDT) at London’s famous Wembley Stadium.

There was no joy for England 22 years ago, with the home side losing all three matches.

History suggests England will be up against it to win this year’s Ashes as it’s a feat they haven’t been able to achieve since 1970 – 55 years ago.
