The WA draft prospects you should be keeping an eye out for

Draft expert Kevin Sheehan says there are several West Australian prospects to keep a close eye on ahead of next month’s draft.

With West Coast holding the first two picks in the draft, attention is quickly turning to who they’ll be taking as they look to move up the ladder in 2026.

Sheehan told Adam Papalia 189cm mid-forward Sam Swadling is a particularly valuable prospect.

“Sam Swadling is another West Perth boy,” Sheehan told Wide World of Sports.

“He’s another All-Australian and use that as a guide all the time, he was a dominant underage player (in Perth).”
