Coming up is the World Junior Summer Showcase, the traditional summer tournament to help the national teams decide who should fill out their rosters for the World Junior Championship in December, and Leafs draft pick Victor Johansson is expected to be be high on the roster for the Swedish team’s defenceman.

Rangers have signed Conor Sheary to a PTO. He was on Mike Sullivan’s Cup-winning teams in Pittsburgh. He’ll be a depth forward option if he makes the team.
