The ATH-ADX7000 headphones come with two interchangeable earpads: high-density velvet earpads that are designed to suppress unwanted resonances and deliver a balanced sound, and the Alcantara earpads that are more durable and bring out deeper bass and mellow treble.

Each pair comes with a compact hard carrying case, and Audio-Technica is also throwing in two detachable 3-meter, nylon-wrapped cables in the box—one balanced cable with a 4-pin XLRM connector and another unbalanced one with a 6.3mm gold-plated stereo plug — both using Audio-Technica’s A2DC connectors.

The Audio-Technica ATH-ADX7000 will go on sale in the US and UK starting October 31st for $3,499 and £3,000, respectively.
