Sebastian Cossa made 30 saves Friday for his fourth career shutout and the Grand Rapids Griffins defeated the Manitoba Moose 4-0 at Van Andel Arena to equal the franchise’s best start at 5-0.
The last time the Griffins started 5-0 was the 2004-05 season. They can establish a new franchise record Tuesday when they visit the Iowa Wild (8 p.m.).
