TULSA – Rice’s doubles pair of Petro Kuzmenok and Santiago Navarro advanced to the finals of the American Individual Championship on Saturday.
They secured their spot with a 6-4, 6-1 win over UAB’s Juan Pablo Valdez and Ondrej Valek.
The duo will face Charlotte’s Vasco Prata and Ivan Dreycopp in Sunday’s championship match at 9 a.m., where the winner will represent the American at the ITA Conference Master Championships, set for Nov. 6-8 in San Diego.
Sunday’s final will stream live on ESPN+.
