Promoter Frank Warren has told The Ring that a third bout between heavyweights Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte will happen on December 13, and that Moses Itauma won’t return in 2025.

Itauma was expected to fight again in the main event that night in Manchester.

Chisora (36-13, 23 KO) and Whyte (31-4, 21 KO) took the entrance stage with Warren and other heavyweights this past Saturday ahead of Fabio Wardley’s win over Joseph Parker in London. The two sounded ready for the fight, but Chisora in particular stressed that the money needed to be right.

Warren says the fight isn’t yet signed, but that he’ll “sort out” the remaining details, and generally speaking, fights don’t get all-but-announced on shows, in the presence of the promoter, unless the deal is basically done.

Chisora, 41, could be fighting for the final time, but it’s boxing so you never say never, really. He’s won three in a row and remains a compelling figure in the division. He’s lost both fights to Whyte, 37, a split decision in 2016 and an 11th round knockout in 2018.

Whyte is coming off of a first round TKO loss to the aforementioned Itauma in 2025, but still has some name value in the UK, especially opposite an old rival and ticket seller like Chisora, who has seen his career take him from villain to fan favorite over many years.
