At the top of the United Rugby Championship table, the Stormers and Munster remain the only teams with undefeated records after topping Benetton (31-16) and Connacht (17-15), respectively, in Round 5 play.

The top six teams hold strong in their positions for the third consecutive week. Cardiff stays fourth after a narrow 20-19 victory over Edinburgh. Edinburgh led for 67 minutes, but Cardiff ultimately secured the win through a late penalty goal by Ioan Lloyd.

Ulster, sitting fifth and previously among the undefeated, fell 31-49 to the Lions. Despite the loss, their ranking remains unchanged.

The Sharks vs. Scarlets matchup proved exciting, as one side was guaranteed its first win. It was the Sharks who prevailed 29-19, lifting them to thirteenth in the standings. The Scarlets, however, close out their first month of play without a single point.

Round 6 brings the highly anticipated Munster vs. Stormers showdown. Both enter the clash unbeaten and well-rested after the fall break. With the season heating up, URC fans can expect another thrilling weekend of rugby action.
