Katy Perry is getting blasted online by her haters for destroying her 40th birthday cake, which her backup dancers ended up eating off the floor.
The “Teenage Dream” singer recently celebrated her milestone birthday backstage at a recent stop on her “Lifetimes Tour.” Still in costume, the video showed Katy surrounded by her crew members as she blew out the candles on the cake in front of her.
She then picked up the cake and tried to chuck it at a man in a suit wearing a headset, but she ultimately missed and the cake ended up smashed on the floor.
As Perry laughed off the fun moment, some of her dancers made their way to the birthday cake, bent down and scooped up some bites to eat.
The “California Gurls” singer has been causing quite the stir recently, she’s been seen out on date nights and making out with former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
