Quarterback Lamar Jackson ran briskly out of the team facility Tuesday and took his place with the Baltimore Ravens starting offense for the beginning of practice.

This wasn’t like last week when Jackson moved methodically in the early stages of practice and mostly hung back from fellow quarterbacks Tyler Huntley and Cooper Rush. Jackson now feels 100 percent and ready to return to a team that mostly struggled in his absence.

The Ravens face the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday in prime time, and for the first time since Sept. 28, Jackson will be their starting quarterback.

“Extremely excited,” Jackson said in his first comments to reporters since he strained his right hamstring in the second half of a Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. “Can’t wait to touch the grass with my guys. It’s been a while.”
