Where to watch Ortiz vs. Lubin?
Vergil Ortiz became the WBC Interim Super Welterweight Champion on August 10, 2024, when he defeated Serhii Bohachuk in a firefight, now he must fight Erickson Lubin.
This will be the American’s second title defense. Earlier this year, he successfully defended the Green and Gold Belt against Israil Madrimov.
Power-point Ortiz holds an undefeated record of 23 wins with 21 knockouts.
Erickson Lubin is a familiar name to the WBC. In 2020, he captured the WBC Silver Super Welterweight title by defeating Terrell Gausha over twelve tough and demanding rounds.
After losing that belt to Sebastian Fundora in a give and take slugfest, Lubin has bounced back with three consecutive victories.
Lubin’s record stands at 27 wins, 2 losses, and 19 knockouts.
The fight will take place on Saturday, November 8, at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
The bout will be broadcast live on DAZN: http://dazn.com/wbc.
