Notorious pitch invader and serial prankser Daniel Jarvis has pulled off another undercover stunt, fooling Cameron Munster into linking arms with him during the Australian national anthem before the second Ashes Test on Sunday morning.
Jarvis, a renowned prankster who has managed to orchestrate major security breaches around the world, added the second Ashes Test to his list of feats when he somehow made his way onto the field – dressed in the team uniform – for the anthem before Australia’s victory over England.

Jarvis has previously gatecrashed the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics when he dressed up as a member of Team Great Britain, however this time he donned the green and gold of Australia and made his way next to Munster for the anthem before security intervened to escort him from the ground.
He was wearing an Australian jersey, shorts, socks and sneakers and approached Munster as the team lined up for the anthem on the middle of Hill Dickinson Stadium.
“Myself and Patty Carrigan have a bit of a superstition that we stand together for the anthem,” Munster said.
“Some guy tried to get in between me and him and I said ‘nah’. Then he asked me again, ‘can I stand next to you and hold you’. I said righto mate. Do what you need to do. I just assumed he had some corporate package or some agreement with the Kangaroos that he could jump in for the anthem. Then I realised who it was. It was the guy who does that stuff on the regular. It took me a while to click on but it was pretty funny. He got me.

“He tried talking to me but I didn’t give him a whole heap because no one tipped me up that it was going to happen. It was a bit weird, but I just went with it. He got me an absolute ripper.
“Security guards or one of the people who work at the grounds went and grabbed him and were pretty aggressive with him. I knew straight away I got stitched up massively.”
