CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women’s tennis wrapped up play at home this fall and the Harvard Fall Invitational yesterday afternoon.
Two Crimson duos began the day with dominant victories over their Brown opponents. Polina Krumkachev and Natasha Rajaram first defeated Dani Ben-Abraham and Abigail Lee (Brown), 6-1. Kavya Karra and Kate Kim followed with an identical result over Anne Yang and Bella Hu (Brown).
Krumkachev added another victory to her final day win total, defeating Abigail Lee (Brown) in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
Karra recorded the final victory of the day, dropping Hannah Shen (Brown) in a battle. After falling in tiebreakers in the opening set, Karra recovered with a dominant 6-1 second set. The junior then went on to secure her victory with a 10-8 result in the third set tiebreaker.
