Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight, Casey Kenney, was sentenced to 180 days in jail after pleading guilty to a domestic violence charge filed in July 2024. In addition, Kenney will be required to complete a substance abuse program and a domestic violence offender treatment program.

Kenney, 34, racked up a pair of fights on Dana White’s “Contender Series” back in summer 2017 and after a brief (and successful stint) for Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), Kenney (16-4-1) signed with UFC. The Arizonian racked up a 5-3 record inside the Octagon and has not competed since dropping back-to-back decision losses to Dominick Cruz (UFC 259) and Yadong Song (UFC 265).

Kenney was able to plead down his original charges of kidnapping and disorderly conduct, among other allegations, but will serve supervised probation in addition to his jail time for a separate charge of possessing drug paraphernalia.

His anticipated release date is May 1, 2026.
