Week 10 is here! This NFL season has been one of the most interesting so far. The Chicago Bears have been pulling off close wins, Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers are finding their groove, the Broncos are on a seven-game win streak, and more. I’ve been having so much fun tuning into as many games as I can, with the Bears getting most of my attention, of course.
I’ll be watching the games listed below this week and taking a glance at a few others, because football season consumes my life in the fall/winter. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Giants vs. Bears
It’s supposed to be a cold game day in Chicago (also known as Bear weather) with snow flurries expected. Many fans will have to bundle up at Soldier Field, and I’ll be at home, wishing I were at the game, but snuggled up in a blanket, watching it on TV.
After an exciting, but very nerve-racking win against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Bears (5-3) will look to kick off another win streak. They’re facing Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants (2-7), who are trying to turn their season around.
Ravens vs. Vikings
The Baltimore Ravens had a rocky start to the season, but Lamar Jackson and the team are drowning out the noise. They’ve even removed all games and televisions from the locker rooms to ensure every player is focused on winning. After beating the Bears in Week 8 and the Dolphins in Week 9, if Baltimore (3-5 and currently second in the AFC North) can defeat the Minnesota Vikings, they’ll be on a three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Minnesota (4-4) pulled off a win against the Detroit Lions in Week 9, and probably wants to get a little streak going, too.
Saints vs. Panthers
I don’t follow the New Orleans Saints closely, so I’ll be watching this game to see how the Panthers perform. One reason is that I love seeing Bryce Young evolve. The hate he received in his rookie year and part of his second year in the league made me want to root for the young quarterback to prove everyone wrong. The Panthers’ record is 5-4, and they’re currently second in the NFC South.
I’ll be taking a little peek at these games too
Falcons vs. Colts (a super early game and I know I won’t be awake to watch all of it, so I’ll catch the second half)
Browns vs. Jets (Rooting for a second win for Justin Fields)
Eagles vs. Packers (MNF, so I’ll be watching this entire game)
