Big Boi, meanwhile, kept things classic for the occasion in a crisp black tuxedo with a floppy bowtie and imposing Cazal sunglasses. Despite their otherwise clashing oeuvres, the ATLiens did show a little sartorial team unity in the form of fur: Andre with a bushy tail dangling from his jeans, Big Boi in a bodacious coat tossed over his formalwear. Together, the reunited twosome looked—yes, sorry—so fresh and so clean.
Later in the evening, before Donald Glover movingly introduced the pair to the stage, Big Boi performed a medley of OutKast’s greatest hits alongside Doja Cat, Killer Mike, J.I.D., Tyler, the Creator, Janelle Monáe, and Sleepy Brown. By that point, Sir Lucious Left Foot had ditched the tux, but kept the fur coat on over a Falcons tee, black shorts, and a spotless pair of Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 ‘Pine Green.’

“We started in a little room,” André 3000 said during the duo’s induction speech, his voice breaking and eyes wet, as Big Boi lovingly threw an arm around his shoulder. “Great things start in little rooms.” Great fits, too.
