Fourteen players with local ties are on NFL rosters this season, including eight on active rosters. Here is a look at how each player fared this week. Players are listed in alphabetical order.
* OG Joel Bitonio (Nevada Wolf Pack), Cleveland Browns: There was some discussion Bitonio might be dealt at the trade deadline, but the Browns held their long-term star despite a 2-7 record. Later in the week, Bitonio played all 73 snaps in a 27-20 loss to the Jets in a penalty-free game. The Browns rushed for 158 yards on 32 carries but allowed six sacks, including four to Will McDonald.
* OL Austin Corbett (Nevada Wolf Pack/Reed High), Carolina Panthers: In a 17-7 loss to New Orleans, Corbett played all 53 offensive snaps and did not record a penalty. The Panthers were limited to 73 yards on 23 rushes and allowed two sacks. Corbett also was involved in Rico Dowdle’s “zero pumps” touchdown celebration. Dowdle was fined $14,491 for a pelvic-thrust celebration during last week’s win against the Packers. The celebration is based on Keegan-Michael Key’s character Hingle McCringleberry from “Key & Peele.”
* DB Kitan Crawford (Nevada Wolf Pack), Arizona Cardinals: In Arizona’s 44-22 loss to Seattle, Crawford logged 10 plays on defense and 25 on special teams. He recorded one tackle, that coming on a 3-yard run up the middle on Seattle’s last possession. Crawford also was called for a hold on Arizona’s first kick return of the game.
* WR Romeo Doubs (Nevada Wolf Pack), Green Bay Packers: Doubs and the Packers play the Eagles on Monday Night Football.
* LB Daiyan Henley (Nevada Wolf Pack), Los Angeles Chargers: The Chargers beat the Steelers, 25-10, on Sunday Night Football for their third straight win, a period in which Los Angeles has allowed just 13.3 points per game. Henley played all 52 snaps on defense and had six tackles. He has a team-high 67 stops through 10 games this year.
* WR/PR Tory Horton (Nevada Wolf Pack), Seattle Seahawks: Coming off a two-touchdown game, Horton was inactive with a groin/shin injury as Seattle routed Arizona, 44-22.
* LB Ale Kaho (Reno High), Washington Commanders: In a 44-22 loss to Detroit, Kaho made his first NFL regular-season tackles. Kaho played 10 snaps, all on special teams, and had a stop on a 5-yard punt return and 21-yard kickoff return. On the second of those stops, Kaho was tended to on the field, evaluated for a concussion and ruled out for the remainder of the game.
* OLB Kyle Van Noy (McQueen High), Baltimore Ravens: Baltimore won its third straight game, a 27-19 victory over Minnesota, with Van Noy recording two tackles and a pass defended in 46 defensive snaps (71 percent of those plays).
