Jarryd Hayne is looking in excellent shape as he gears up to return to make his football return.
The two-time Dally M Medal winner made his footy comeback earlier this year, playing for the Wentworthville Magpies in a Ron Massey Cup game against Canterbury.

Hayne’s return to football had been delayed by a hamstring injury but he impressed for the Magpies back in May and was all smiles as they claimed a 22-14 win.
Now the 37-year-old will suit up for the Campbelltown Saints in their Community Day on Saturday at Waminda Oval, and he has trimmed down significantly.
Hayne showed off his noticeably slimmed down physique on social media over the weekend, sharing photos of himself in a gym wearing the Campbelltown Saints community jersey.
“Excited to play next week representing Ctown,” he wrote.
“Waminda oval 4:30pm. Food trucks, bar, 3 games of footy.”
Hayne will don the same No. 38 he wore during his stint with the San Francisco 49ers during the 2015 NFL season.
His return to rugby league comes after Hayne spent nearly two years in prison due to sexual assault charges.
Those convictions were quashed by the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal in June last year with Hayne ultimately walking free.
He played his last NRL game in 2018 but has been looking to get back to the top of the sport since being released.
He was one of several former NRL players who played in the 2025 Nines Premier League trophy but spent minimal time on the field due to hamstring concerns.
Hayne had previously set his sights on representing Fiji if he could get his body in shape, but he appeared content to watch the Pacific Championships from the stands at Parramatta’s CommBank, praising the atmosphere at the games.
“Pacific Champs the real winner yesterday,” Hayne posted on Facebook.
“The last 2 finals have been the best atmosphere.”
He said he was supporting Samoa in the Pacific Championships final but was happy to see Kiwi Kieran Foran go out a winner in his final professional game.
Hayne played 214 NRL games and made 23 State of Origin appearances for NSW and most famously led the Parramatta Eels to the 2009 NRL Grand Final.
He was previously part of Fiji’s 2008 and 2017 World Cup squads. He also represented the Pacific nation in rugby sevens after a brief stint in the NFL stint with the San Francisco 49ers.
