The #6 Middlebury women’s tennis team earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic honors, while all 11 members of the squad were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
To be an all-academic selection, each team must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or above on a 4.00 scale for the academic year, all student-athletes must be listed on the institution’s eligibility form, and varsity letters should be factored into the cumulative GPA.
Honors for ITA Scholar-Athletes are awarded to student-athletes who possess a GPA of at least 3.50 in the current academic year and listed on the institutional eligibility form. Recent graduates Nina Farhat, Claudia Miller and Nathalie van der Reis alongside rising seniors Anna Lardner, Charlotte McCann and Lulu Wu tallied the award. Ananya Annapantula, Gusty Beveridge, Elizabeth Doak and Elsie Van Wieren rounded out the Middlebury honorees.
The Panthers finished their season with an 18-3 record and a 10-0 mark in NESCAC play. Middlebury earned its first conference crown in program history and advanced to the NCAA Regional Final.
