The weekend is here and so are some of the latest releases. We bring you a list of films and series that are streaming on various OTT platforms.

Asthra (Malayalam)
In just 48 hours, a gang kills two police officers under mysterious circumstances, leaving an eerie arrow-shaped blood mark on the ‘Asthra’ follows officer Joshy Mathew as he uses every tool at hand to hunt the killers and uncover their motive.
Directed by Azaad Alavil, the film features Suhasini Kumaran, Senthil Krishna, Sudheer Karamana and Kalabhavan Shajohn, with a strong supporting cast including Renu Sounder, Jayadushyanth, Abu Salim, Jiju Raj, Srikanth Murali, Meghanathan, Neena Kurup and Parasparam Pradeep.

Kuberaa (Telugu/Tamil)
In Sekhar Kammula’s latest film, we meet Deva Kallam, a man living on the streets with nothing to his name. His days are spent begging for scraps, unnoticed by the world around him. But fate has other plans.
One fateful encounter pulls Deva into a dangerous plot, and from that moment on, his life hurtles in a direction he could never have imagined. The man everyone ignored is forced to rise, adapt, and fight his way through a web of power and deceit.

Front and centre in this gripping story is Dhanush, who plays Deva with raw intensity. He’s joined by Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, whose performances add depth and intrigue to a narrative that promises to keep you hooked.

The Bhootnii (Hindi)
The Bhootnii is set in Delhi’s St. Vincent College, where a ghost named Mohabbat rises from the “virgin tree” every Valentine’s Day to terrorise the campus. A group of frightened hostel boys turn to a quirky ghostbuster, Baba, hoping to stop the spirit before it claims another life. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film features Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari and Aasif Khan.
Streaming on ZEE5 from July 18.

Special Ops 2 (Hindi)
Featuring Kay Kay Menon and Prakash Raj, the new season sees Himmat Singh and his team step into the high stakes arena of cyber warfare. As digital threats and cyber terror networks escalate, they embark on a mission to track down a hidden enemy lurking deep within the virtual world.

DNA (Tamil)
‘DNA’ is a Tamil action thriller that traces the lives of Anand and Divya. Anand, shattered by the loss of his lover, slips into alcoholism, while Divya, who lives with Borderline Personality Disorder, struggles to find someone willing to accept her.
When Anand completes rehab, their families arrange their marriage. Against the odds, they build a warm, hopeful life together, and soon Divya is pregnant. Everything changes after the birth. Divya becomes convinced the baby isn’t hers. Everyone blames her condition—everyone except Anand, whose decision to trust her sets him on a dangerous path to uncover the truth.
