ARN’s Hot Tomato still leads the pack in GfK Survey 3 of 2025 for the Gold Coast.

While its overall share among all people 10+ fell 3.0 to 15.9, the station enjoyed a mammoth surge in share among the 10 to 17s (+6.0 to 42.7), as well as a 4,000 cume pick up for this demographic.

Triple M Gold sits second overall (-0.9 to 11.4), ahead of Sea FM (-0.5 to 8.8)

Hot Tomato’s Galey and Emily Jade continue to dominate the Breakfast timeslot, despite dropping 3.1 to 15.5 share. The Triple M Gold team of Leisel Jones, Liam Flanagan and Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt hold down second spot in Breakfast (-1.1 to 11.5)

Notably, Brisbane’s KIIS 973 went up 1.3 to post a 2.3 share in Breakfast.

Hot Tomato Content Director Brendon “Whippy” Dangar said “Turns out being live and local pays off! To end the year with another number 1 result is a great reward for a local team that’s worked hard to deliver an exclusive Gold Coast product.”

Michael Harvey, ARN Chief Regional Officer, said “Hot Tomato’s remarkable run at the top reflects the station’s deep connection with the Gold Coast community. It’s about more than just numbers – it’s about delivering authentic local content that resonates with listeners and meaningful results for advertisers. The passion and dedication of the Hot Tomato team is clearly reflected in these outstanding ratings, and we’re excited to continue growing with our audience and partners.”

SCA Head of Regional Content and Gold Coast General Manager Blair Woodcock said “Congratulations to our hard-working Gold Coast team on today’s survey result, where SCA has reinforced its dominance in the ‘Audience That Matters,’ as the #1 network 25–54.

“Leisel Jones, Liam & Spida (Leisel Jones, Liam Flanagan, and Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt) have celebrated their first year on air with a strong result, proving that their consistent, local approach continues to resonate across the Goldie.. It’s also fantastic to see Men 25–54 choosing Triple M Gold to soundtrack their day, with the station claiming the #1 position in the demo with a 10.3% share.

“On Sea FM, we’re continuing to see positive momentum, including winning People 25–54 in the workday, while Bronte & Lakey (Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey) keep delivering fun, engaging content that connects with listeners. Carrie & Tommy have also recorded another great result, winning the P25–54 demo in Drive (3pm–6pm).

“We’re committed to growing two excellent Breakfast shows and stations, both of which continue to entertain and engage the Gold Coast community. A huge thank you to our entire team for their focus and commitment to maintaining SCA’s position as the #1 network on the Gold Coast.”
