With Toy Story 5 heading to theaters next June, there will undoubtedly be a plethora of new toys and accessories themed around the Pixar series in the coming months. But if you’re looking for a gift for a Toy Story fan this holiday season, Lego designed an absolutely adorable building set this year. Released in June with a $40 retail price, the Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car Lego set is on sale for $32 (was $40) at Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

This is the first deal we’ve seeno for the 206-piece Toy Story Lego set. Unsurprisingly, it has been one of the most popular Disney Lego sets since launch. If you’re interested in this deal, you probably shouldn’t wait. The Toy Story set is currently on backorder (again) at the Lego Store–and it’s not even discounted there.

The Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car features Lego minifigures of Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and Bo Peep. The train cars resemble parade floats themed around the three riders. There’s a western-style train engine for Jessie, a classy seesaw for Bo Beep, and a spaceship for Buzz.

When the train cars are fully built and connected, the Celebration Train is roughly 12.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 4 inches tall.

But the coolest part of this Lego set is RC, the remote-control car character from the movies. It has a seat for the Woody minifigure and a small rocket connected to the back–a reference to the famous scene from the original Toy Story movie.

The Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car was designed for young kids who are new to Lego. It’s part of Lego’s line of preschooler toys for kids ages four and up. It has multiple preassembled starter bricks and a pictorial instruction booklet that makes it easy for preschoolers to build. An interactive 3D version of the instruction booklet is available for free on the Lego Builder app.

This isn’t the first Lego playset with the Celebration Train name. As part of the Disney 100 lineup in 2023, Lego released a train with four cars and six characters from different eras, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, Moana, and Woody. The Disney 100 Celebration Train also retailed for $40, but Lego discontinued it late last year.

Lego also makes a very popular Duplo train set with parade floats for toddlers. The 22-piece Duplo Mickey & Minnie Birthday Train is on sale for $24 (was $30) at Amazon.

There aren’t all that many Disney Pixar Lego sets being produced today, but Lego recently released two awesome models geared toward adults. Longtime Pixar fans can build a 613-piece replica of the studio’s mascot Luxo Jr.–and the ball the sentient lamp bounces on–for $70. In September, Lego released a new WALL-E set with buildable models of four characters: WALL-E, EVE, M-O, and Hal.

If you haven’t picked up the 811-piece WALL-E set, you can bundle it with the extremely popular Lego Pixar Up House for $95 at Walmart. The Up House is discounted to $38 (was $60) on its own, but Walmart’s bundle effectively drops the price to only $25. Another Lego Pixar deal to check out is the Inside Out 2 Mood Cubes for only $21.49 (was $35).

Lightning McQueen from Pixar’s Cars franchise will join the Lego Speed Champions lineup January 1. The 270-piece set is available to preorder for $28 at Amazon. Lightning McQueen, Mack, and other characters from Cars are available in multiple Duplo sets, too.
