Australia’s Jack Della Maddalena puts his UFC welterweight on the line at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden in his UFC 322 headliner against Islam Makhachev on Saturday, November 15 (Sunday, Nov. 16 in Australia).
The Perth product is looking to make the first defence of the strap he claimed when defeating Belal Muhammad at UFC 315 in May.
Standing in his way is Dagestan’s Makhachev, the former lightweight champion many consider to the be the sport’s pound-for-pound number one.

UFC 322 goes down on Sunday, November 16, with the main pay-per-view card kicking off at 2 pm AEDT.
As the final fight on the main card, Della Maddalena and Makhachev won’t be stepping into the cage until after 4 pm AEDT.
For those fans looking to soak in all the action, the early prelims will begin at 10 am AEDT, while the prelims kick off at midday.
