The Sandisk Creator Series offers storage options for each part of the content production process. The new portfolio includes the Creator Phone SSD, Creator microSD Card, Creator SD UHS-II Card, Creator Phone Drive, Creator USB-C Flash Drive, Creator Pro Portable SSD, and the Creator Desk Drive.

Mobile storage

The Sandisk Creator Phone SSD is designed for use with MagSafe-compatible smartphones and is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, with prices set at AUD $451.00 and AUD $671.00, respectively. It supports data transfer speeds of up to 1000MB/s read and 950MB/s write, and allows 4K video recording in Apple ProRes format directly to the external drive. The device is encased in a silicone shell and rated for up to three-metre drop protection, as well as IP65 water and dust resistance. A one-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud is included for buyers.

The Creator Phone Drive, expected to be available next year, features both Lightning and USB Type-C connectors and up to 256GB of storage. The device is supported by the Sandisk Memory Zone app on Android devices for automatic backup.

The Creator microSD Card comes in 256GB and 512GB models, priced at AUD $99.00 and AUD $176.00, respectively. Cards in 128GB and 1TB capacities are expected to be released in 2026. Desk and portable SSDs

The upcoming Creator Pro Portable SSD will offer capacities up to 4TB, targeting creators who work with large volumes of footage or multi-camera setups. It delivers NVMe performance for efficiently handling uncompressed video and AI-generated content.

The new Creator Desk Drive is aimed at providing desktop users with a compact storage hub, claiming read performance up to four times faster than a standard desktop hard drive based on Sandisk’s internal tests. This product is scheduled for release in 2026.

Design and usability

Sandisk’s new line features a variety of exterior colour options. The different form factors are intended to meet the workflow needs of content creators working with various device ecosystems and editing requirements.

Market focus

The products are currently available through JB Hi-Fi across Australia, with additional models and expanded capacities planned for release in 2026. The range targets professional and semi-professional digital content producers and aims to support multi-device and high-volume workflows.

“Creators need reliable, high-performance tools in every environment, whether they’re in the studio or out in the field, and this series is designed with their demands in mind,” said Susan Park, Vice President, Sandisk.
