GARRY Rogers Motorsport today starts its first race meeting since the death of its eponymous founder last month.
GRM has entered five cars in Trans Am for the Mallala Homecoming (November 21-22), where tributes will be paid to the late Garry Rogers.
So, now felt a fitting time to do some more reflecting, in this instance on GRM’s 25-year span in the ATCC/Supercars Championship.
During that quarter-century, 43 drivers strapped in for the Victorian team at championship level – ranging from one race for some to 248 for Garth Tander.
Interestingly, no driver represented GRM in more seasons however than enduro specialist Greg Ritter, who made 29 starts across 11 years.
As for most GRM race wins? That belongs to Scott McLaughlin with eight.
