The Cincinnati Bengals won’t move quarterback Joe Burrow to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Joe Flacco will reportedly start his sixth consecutive game in the absence of Burrow, who is making his way back to the field after recovering from a turf toe injury he suffered in the second game of the season.

Burrow, who had surgery on his toe on Sept. 19, is still on injured reserve. He was listed as “questionable” heading into the weekend.

“He’s done everything he can. He looks great,” Zac Taylor told reporters Friday. “You expect it to respond great when he’s out there and gets tackled, but you don’t know … and two games in five days, you have to account for that.”

The Bengals will play the division-rival Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving, a game that Burrow said would be “very” meaningful to play in when his 21-day practice window was opened on Nov. 10.

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has been ruled out for their Week 12 game against the Detroit Lions.

Interim head coach Mike Kafka cited Dart’s lack of progression through concussion protocol as the reason he will miss this week, not the organization being extra cautious.

Dart was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and but has yet to be cleared from protocol.

The rookie quarterback missed last week’s loss to the Green Bay Packers after suffering a concussion in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears.

After taking a number of hits in his first NFL season and needing four concussion evaluations, the Ole Miss product has reportedly been told by people inside and outside the organization to be more careful when running with the ball and to better protect himself.

Dart has had an impressive start to his NFL career with the Giants. Through nine games, he has 1,417 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also been productive on the ground, picking up 317 rushing yards and seven touchdowns — both are tops among rookies.

Other notable Week 12 injuries:

Aaron Rodgers is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bears as he deals with a fractured left wrist. A day after head coach Mike Tomlin said that Rodgers would not need surgery, the veteran wore a brace as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

Bucky Irving has not played since Week 4, but is “trending up,” according to Tampa head coach Todd Bowles. The running back has been out with foot and shoulder injuries, but did return to practice. Bowles said that Irving “didn’t handle” being hurt for the first time in his NFL well and are eyeing Week 13 against the Cardinals as a potential return date.

Josh Jacobs says if he missed any time, it will not be more than one game. The Green Bay Packers running back suffered a knee injury during last week’s win over the Giants and was back at practice on Thursday in a limited fashion after sitting out Wednesday. He’s been dealing with swelling and stiffness in the knee. He is listed as “questionable.”

The Bengals will play the division-rival Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving, a game that Burrow said would be “very” meaningful to play in when his 21-day practice window was opened on Nov. 10.

Despite running back Kenneth Walker III appearing on Seattle’s injury report with a glute injury, head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters on Friday that Walker should be about to play on Sunday, barring any major setbacks.

“We’re just taking care of him today. It’s precautionary,” Macdonald said in a press conference. “He should be fine.”

Walker, by far the Seahawks’ leading rusher, is currently “questionable” for Sunday’s game against the Titans.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. The injury is reportedly new and this is the first time he has appeared on the injury report, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson.

If Walker is unable to go, expect Zach Charbonnet to get the majority of the carries. Charbonnet has 105 carries for 350 yards and six touchdowns.

After missing practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury, Ravens quartback Lamar Jackson is off the injury report for Week 12. Jackson practiced in full on Thursday and Friday, and does not have an injury status for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is listed as questionable with a knee injury for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Jacobs practiced for the second straight day in a limited capacity and head coach Matt LaFleur said he is feeling pretty good, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.

Jacobs injured his knee last week in the game against the New York Giants. He finished with seven carries for 40 yards. If Jacobs doesn’t play on Sunday, expect Emanuel Wilson to get the bulk of the carries. The Packers play the Lions on Thanksgiving after Sunday’s game.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is “questionable” to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

“We’ll see where the weekend leads us,” Tomlin said, via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Rodgers fractured his left wrist late in the second quarter of a win over the Cincinnati Bengals last week. It’s an injury to his non-throwing hand, and he doesn’t need surgery for it, per Tomlin.

The 41-year-old signal-caller didn’t practice Wednesday. He was limited Thursday and Friday.

If he can’t go against the Bears, backup Mason Rudolph will be in line to start.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson and wide receiver Kayshon Boutte have been cleared and are expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters.

Stevenson has missed the last three games with a toe injury. He suffered the injury in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. He has 83 carries for 279 yards and three touchdowns this season.

In his absence, rookie back TreVeyon Henderson has had an increased workload. Henderson had a breakout performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he had 14 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He has 100 carries for 492 yards and five touchdowns this season, leading the Patriots in all three rushing categories.

Boutte has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. Before the injury, Boutte was on pace for his best season. He has 23 catches for 431 yards and has the most receiving touchdowns on the team with five. Wide receivers Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins, Demario Douglas and tight end Hunter Henry have stepped up in his absence.

Despite Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel (concussion) returning to practice on Friday, he has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to ESPN Browns reporter Daniel Oyefusi.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that Gabriel has not fully cleared concussion protocol. Gabriel went down in last week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The rookie quarterback has thrown for 937 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions since taking over for former Browns quarterback Joe Flacco in Week 5.

Shedeur Sanders will make his first career start in Gabriel’s place. Sanders was 4 for 16 for 47 yards and one interception against the Ravens. Bailey Zappe will back up Sanders.

Offensive tackle Jack Conklin (knee), wide receiver Jamari Thrash (foot) and defensive end Alex Wright (quad) are also questionable. It is reported that Myles Garrett, who is dealing with an illness, and David Njoku (knee) will be good to go.

The Browns are sitting last in the AFC North at 2-8.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones practiced in full Friday and is good to go for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Shane Steichen told reporters.

Jones popped up on the injury report with a calf issue this week and was limited in Thursday’s practice.

ESPN’s Stephen Holder reported Friday that the Colts re-evaluated the calf complaints Jones made and found that they were related to his fibula. But they’re of no concern now, per Holder.

The Green Bay Packers’ offense could be receiving a late-season reinforcement soon.

Wide receiver Jayden Reed practiced Friday for the first time since Week 2, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.

Reed, who caught a combined 14 touchdowns the previous two seasons, had foot and collarbone surgeries back in September.

His 21-day practice window is open.

Irving has not played since Week 4, but is “trending up,” according to Tampa head coach Todd Bowles. The running back has been at practice, but isn’t ready for game day just yet.

Bowles added that Irving “didn’t handle” being hurt for the first time in his NFL well, which may have played a role in why Irving has been out for so long and was not placed on injured reserve at any point.

The Bucs are eyeing Week 13 against the Cardinals as a potential return date for Irving.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel, tight end David Njoku and defensive end Alex Wright did not practice on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Cleveland Browns reporter Daniel Oyefusi.

The Browns have already named Shedeur Sanders the starting quarterback for this week, with Gabriel still in concussion protocol. Gabriel went down in last week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Sanders struggled, completing 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and an interception. Gabriel has thrown for 937 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions since taking over for Joe Flacco in Week 5.

Njoku is dealing with a knee injury. He missed Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins because of it. He has 30 catches for 288 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Wright remains out with the quad injury that kept him out of last week’s game against the Ravens. Wright has had 16 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble this season. The Browns recently re-signed him to a three-year, $33 million extension.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sat out a Wednesday practice for the second week in a row, this time because of an ankle injury.

But he was once again back for Thursday’s practice, and the Ravens listed him as a full participant ahead of a Week 12 game against the New York Jets.

Jackson missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury. Last week, he was dealing with knee soreness.

As Eddy Piñeiro deals with a hamstring injury, the 49ers have brought in Matt Gay, days after the kicker was cut by the Commanders.

The 31-year-old was 13-for-19 on field goal attempts this season in Washington, a year after going 31-for-37 while with the Colts.
