COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina women’s tennis team announced its 2026 spring schedule on Monday. The Gamecocks are led by head coach Kevin Epley, who enters his 13th season at the helm. The 2026 slate features 11 home matches and is highlighted by two ITA tournaments.
The Gamecocks will open the season Jan. 18 with a home doubleheader against Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina inside the Carolina Tennis Center.
South Carolina then travels to Durham for the ITA Kickoff Weekend at Duke. The Gamecocks will face Florida Atlantic on Jan. 24, with their Jan. 25 opponent to be determined.
Two wins in Durham would send the Gamecocks to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, set for Feb. 6–10 in Illinois. If the team does not advance to Indoors, South Carolina will instead travel to Georgia Tech on Feb. 7 before returning home to host Clemson on Feb. 10.
The Gamecocks will then host Charlotte on Saturday morning, as their last non-conference match before opening SEC play with a three-match homestand. The home stretch continues as South Carolina welcomes conference opponents Georgia (Feb. 22), LSU (Feb. 26) and Ole Miss (Feb. 28).
South Carolina opens its early-March road swing with stops at Missouri (March 6), Vanderbilt (March 8), Texas (March 12) and Texas A&M (March 14).
The Gamecocks then return to Columbia for SEC matchups with Auburn on March 19 and Florida on March 21 before heading back on the road to face Oklahoma and Arkansas.
To close out the regular season, South Carolina hosts Tennessee on April 2, Kentucky on April 4 and Alabama on April 11, with a trip to Mississippi State on April 9 also on the slate. Postseason play begins April 15 with the opening round of the 2026 SEC Tournament held at the Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman, Okla.
