Several users are falsely sharing it, claiming that it features actress Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, who won the gold medal at the World Boxing Cup.
Vishvas News investigated and found the claim to be false. The video actually features boxer Nupur Sheoran. The video dates back to September 2025, when Nupur won a silver medal at the 2025 World Boxing Championships. The old video is now being shared as recent, with a misleading claim that it features Rasha.

Investigation
To investigate the viral video, we took screenshots of the video and searched them using Google Lens. This led us to a video on the official YouTube channel of ‘Sports Now ‘, uploaded on September 16, 2025. According to the information provided, this video dates back to the 2025 World Boxing Championships, where Nupur won the silver medal in the 80+ kg weight category.
We also found the video on the YouTube channel of ‘@ANINewsIndia’, uploaded on September 16, 2025, with the caption, “Nupur won the silver medal at the World Boxing Championships. Nupur said she will bring gold at the World Cup.”

We then looked into Nupur’s family background and history. A news article published on newindianexpress.com on September 10, 2025, reveals that boxing runs in her family. Nupur’s grandfather, Hawa Singh, was a boxer, while her father, Sanjay Kumar, was an international boxer. Furthermore, her mother has also represented India in basketball, underscoring a strong sporting legacy in the family
The collage below highlights the difference between Nupur and Rasha.
Indian boxers gave a powerful performance in the World Boxing Cup Final 2025, securing a total of nine gold medals. Nupur added to the tally with a gold of her own, making up for narrowly missing the top spot at the World Championships earlier in 2025.
For further verification, we contacted Dainik Jagran’s sports editor, Abhishek Tripathi, who confirmed that the video features Nupur, not Rasha.
Finally, we scanned the Facebook account of the user who shared the post and found that the user has 609 followers.
