Behind the numbers Love Island is a big drawcard for 9Now, all adding to a Thursday win.
Love Island continues to be the quiet achiever for Nine, scoring an impressive 447,000 in a 9pm timeslot on a multichannel -sort of.
In truth there were 380,000 viewers on 9Now BVOD -who can actually watch the show from 12pm midday- while 67,000 viewed on 9GO! broadcast. But there’s no sneaky trick here, that’s legit the way OzTAM numbers are compiled.
Meanwhile Tipping Point led entertainment at 710,000 viewers in National TV Audience.
7:30 won its slot with 740,000 then RBT (570,000), Big Brother (556,000), and Highway Patrol (272,000 / 259,000).
Later Grand Designs was 538,000 from 8pm then Love Island (447,000), TopKnotz (304,000), The Graham Norton Show (272,000), Movie: Unchartered (234,000) and Britain’s Railway Empire in Colour (125,000).
Nine won Thursday.
Nine News drew 1.18m then A Current Affair at 924,000. Limitless with Chris Hemsworth was 142,000.
Seven News was #1 at 1.2m then The Chase (574,000) and Border Patrol (563,000).
ABC News pulled 849,000. Hard Quiz (329,000), Long Lost Family (295,000), Portrait Artist of the Year (156,000) followed.
Both 10 News and Deal or No Deal scored 267,000 for 10. Law & Order: SVU was 145,000 while 10 News+ was just 115,000.
On SBS it was SBS World News (168,000 / 119,000), Vigil (91,000), and Eva Longoria’s Searching for Spain (89,000).
The Morning Show: 241,000 / 174,000
Today Extra: 170,000 / 114,000
This marks the last full ratings wrap of the year.
