Hollyoaks is set to ramp up Lucas Hay’s worrying behaviour this December, as he desperately attempts to win back his ex-boyfriend Dillon Ray. To what lengths will he go to fight for his relationship, and is he any closer to finding out about Dillon’s feelings for his dad Ste?
Dillon recently ended his tumultuous relationship with Lucas, and his decision was confirmed when he caught Lucas physically abusing Ste in the flat.
While Dillon and Ste have continued to grow closer and even slept together, Lucas isn’t prepared to give up on his former romance. In next week’s scenes, he is convinced that he can get things back on track and his attempts to get Dillon’s attention reach new heights.
Later in December, Frankie catches Lucas watching her from the shadows in the park. When Frankie realises that Lucas has been bombarding Dillon with texts, she believes that he has also been harassing her online under the guise of her late brother JJ.

Whether or not this is true, this is the final straw for Dillon. He fears what Lucas could be capable of, so he wants to put a stop to his concerning behaviour.
Dillon is the only person who knows that Lucas has been abusing his dad, seeing as Ste went along with the lie that he was hitting his son – and is currently facing consequences despite being completely innocent.
However, when Dillon tells Ste that he wants to get the authorities involved, Ste pleads with him not to go to the police as he doesn’t want Lucas to get sent down.

Dillon therefore takes matters into his own hands and heads to confront Lucas, making it totally clear that he has had enough of his ex’s harassment and constant messages.
But this doesn’t resolve the situation, as later all eyes are on Lucas as his attempts to win Dillon back spiral completely out of control.

Dramatic scenes in the winter trailer show Lucas turning violent with Dillon and even pushing him into a lift. Plus, he comes close to discovering Dillon and Ste’s secret fling and suspects that his ex is seeing someone else.
How will this escalating situation unfold, and what will Lucas do next?
These scenes will air from Monday, 8 December to Wednesday, 10 December. Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
