Hollyoaks kicks off a dramatic new storyline for Frankie Osborne this December, where she begins receiving threatening messages from an anonymous source. As she questions who could be behind her harassment, who can she trust – and is she in danger?
Frankie has recently been exploring a relationship with police officer Sully, although viewers know that her new love interest is dangerous and has anything but good intentions.
She was forced to bring up her past when she received a visiting order from her abusive twin brother JJ. She turned down the request, but later the Osbornes were given the shocking news that JJ had been attacked in prison and subsequently died from his injuries.
The Osbornes face up to some complex emotions next month, as Darren prepares to say goodbye to his son. Meanwhile, Frankie is horrified when she gets messages from an account under JJ’s name.

Realising that it isn’t possible for her brother to be contacting her, Frankie is determined to discover who is behind this cruel joke.
The threats begin to escalate when Frankie and Vicky Grant feel that someone is in the park watching them. They investigate and manage to catch a hooded figure watching them – and discover that it’s Lucas Hay.
Frankie and Vicky search Lucas’s phone for answers and find that he has been sending a barrage of messages to his ex, Dillon Ray. Shocked, they jump to conclusions and believe that Lucas could also be harassing Frankie.

Later, Frankie grows tired of the threats, so she confides in Dodger Savage about the frightening messages she has been receiving and asks for advice.
In the same conversation, Frankie explains that she’s still seeing Sully, which naturally sends alarm bells ringing for Dodger. He questions if Sully is really a good match for her, hoping that it will give Frankie second thoughts about her boyfriend.
