Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift finally spoke about her engagement to Travis Kelce — after the “Sapphire” singer learned the news through social media.

“My way of viewing it is, like, me and Taylor are mates, and I will see her,” Sheeran, 34, told Access Hollywood on Friday, November 28. “I saw her a week after that happened … and you talk in person.”

Swift, 35, announced via Instagram in August that Kelce, 36, popped the question after two years of dating. Sheeran, who has been BFFs with Swift since 2014, later revealed that he found out through social media since he doesn’t have a cell phone.

“I’ve actually got rid of the iPad as well, so I’m not on anything anymore,” Sheeran said on Friday of getting rid of both his phone and tablet. “I kind of feel, like, being in touch with everyone, you lose actual human connection.”
