Four teams are looking to go 2-0 when they plunge back into action on Monday, with the Philippines and Australia keen on accomplishing as much in Group A when they take on the same foes they beat previously.
Gilas are currently sitting atop the pool following an 87-46 rout of Guam at the Calvo Fieldhouse, and will definitely shoot for a repeat when they host the debuting side at the Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City.
The Boomers, on the other hand, are hoping for a more comfortable victory when they face New Zealand at the TSB Bank Arena in Wellington after needing Davo Hickey’s heroics to escape the last time out at home, 84-79.

Team Korea are coming off an 80-76 upset versus China at the Wukesong Arena in Beijing thanks to Lee Hyungjung’s record night, and could potentially go back-to-back as the clash shifts to the city of Wonju.
The Japanese, for their part, will try to overcome what should be a hostile crowd at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City as they take on a Chinese Taipei team hungry for payback after losing 90-64 in Kobe.
