India vs South Africa, 1st ODI Highlights: Riding on Virat Kohli’s fantastic 52nd ODI hundred, along with Kuldeep Yadav and Harshit Rana bowling brilliance, India beat South Africa by 17 runs in the first ODI of three-match series at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Sunday.
After being invited to bat first, Kohli’s 120-ball 135, Rohit Sharma’s 57 and KL Rahul 60 guided India to a massive 349 for 8. In reply, South Africa failed to produce the Herculean batting effort and were eventually bowled out for 332 in 49.2 overs.
Kuldeep (4/68) and Harshit (3/65) were the main wicket-takers for India. On the other hand, Matthew Breeetzke (72), Marco Jansen (70) and Corbin Bosch (67) played fighting knocks for South Africa.

After their win in Ranchi, India now lead the three-match series 1-0 and the second game will be played at Raipur on Wednesday.
