Main event: Merab Dvalishvili

Record: 21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC

Opponent: Petr Yan (19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC)

Key wins: Cory Sandhagen, Sean O’Malley (twice), Umar Nurmagomedov, Henry Cejudo, Petr Yan, Jose Aldo

Misc.: Dvalishvili is attempting to do something that frankly is quite stunning. Most UFC champions fight once a year – twice at best. Three title fights is super rare, and four is unheard of. But here’s Dvalishvili, just two months after a dominating win over Sandhagen, looking for his fourth defense in 2025. He’s a hefty favorite against Yan, whom he beat with ease a little less than three years ago in a five-round main event scorecard sweep.

Main event: Petr Yan

Record: 19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC

Opponent: Merab Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC)

Key wins: Deiveson Figueiredo, Song Yadong, Cory Sandhagen, Jose Aldo, Urijah Faber, Jimmie Rivera

Misc.: When Yan lost to Dvalishvili in March 2023, it was his third straight setback and fourth in five fights, including two title bout losses to Aljamain Sterling. But he’s bounced back with three straight wins over Yadong, former flyweight champ Figueiredo and, most recently, Marcus McGhee in July.

Co-main event: Alexandre Pantoja

Record: 30-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC

Opponent: Joshua Van (15-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC)

Key wins: Kai Kara-France, Kai Asakura, Steve Erceg, Brandon Royval (twice), Brandon Moreno (twice), Alex Perez, Manel Kape

Misc.: Pantoja continued to prove he’s arguably the UFC’s most dominant current champion when he submitted Kara-France in the third round in June for his eight straight win, the past five of which have come in title fights.

Co-main event: Joshua Van

Record: 15-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC

Opponent: Alexandre Pantoja (30-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC)

Key wins: Brandon Royval, Bruno Silva

Misc.: A year ago this weekend, Van beat Cody Durden for his second straight win. He stacked up three more on top of that in 2025 and will fight for the fourth time this year when he challenges Pantoja for the 125-pound title. This bout marks the first time since his promotional debut win over Zhalgas Zhumagulov that Van has been a betting underdog.

UFC debut: Iwo Baraniewski

Opponent: Ibo Aslan (14-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC)

Division: Light heavyweight

Misc.: It’s a quick turnaround for the 27-year-old Polish fighter after his 20-second DWCS knockout got him a contract. He has all six of his wins by stoppage, and all in the first round.
