Meghan Markle will likely be subject to a huge Netflix “test” as the future of her cooking show hangs in the balance. The 43-year-old will release the Christmas epsiode of With Love, Meghan on Wednesday, with the show set to follow the same format as the first two series.
Revealing the release date as December 3, Meghan shared the trailer to her Instagram account last month. The caption expressed her excitement over the pending release, it read: “Unwrap the magic and let the festivities begin when With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration arrives December 3rd on @netflix [gold-glasses emoji].”
Ahead of the release of the Christmas special, PR expert Rhea Freeman has discussed whether a third series of With Love, Meghan could be on the way – and what factors could play into the decision behind it.
She told the Express that it could all depend on the viewing figures of the Christmas episode, saying: “From looking at the numbers available in terms of the audience for season 2, I’m not sure we’ll see a season 3 soon.
“Although there is the Christmas special to come, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of viewing figures that sees.”
While Netflix has not officially confirmed a third season, Meghan was previously said to be keen on the idea of releasing another series.
The show’s second season was filmed at the same time as the first, so it did not require extra filming at a later date.
According to Netflix’s latest Engagement Report, which was released in July and covered the first half of 2025, Meghan’s series ranked at No. 383 with 5.3 million views.
Although Prince Harry made a small appearance in the first series of his wife’s series; their two children are yet to make an appearance.
Although they haven’t featured, Meghan has made mentions of six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.
